Mitsubishi Outlander i Lancer Evo X jako safety cars na Pikes Peak

W tym roku na słynnym podjeździe pod górę Pikes Peak Mitsubishi wystawi dwa specjalnie przygotowane modele i-MiEV napędzane silnikami elektrycznym. Poza tym japoński producent zatroszczy się o bezpieczeństwo: dostarczy dwa wyjątkowe samochody bezpieczeństwa.

W tym roku na słynnym podjeździe pod górę Pikes Peak Mitsubishi wystawi dwa specjalnie przygotowane modele i-MiEV napędzane silnikami elektrycznym. Poza tym japoński producent zatroszczy się o bezpieczeństwo: dostarczy dwa wyjątkowe samochody bezpieczeństwa.

Jako uczestnik oraz jeden ze sponsorów tegorocznego Pikes Peak International Hill Climb Mitsubishi przygotowało także dwa pokazowe samochody bezpieczeństwa. Wprawdzie nie wiadomo oficjalnie, jaka będzie ich rola w imprezie, która jest tak naprawdę rajdem samochodowym, ale prezentują się one bardzo interesująco.

Mitsubishi Outlander oraz Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X powstały we współpracy z takimi firmami jak Kenwood, Cobb, BBS, AEM czy DC Sports. Swoją drogą Lancer w tej wersji wygląda naprawdę rewelacyjnie. Outlander przypomina bardziej auto medyczne.
